Welcome! I’m Jackie Oehlschlager, founder of Your Virtual HQ.

I started Your Virtual HQ while I was a stay-at-home mom who wanted to continue using my education, experience, and passion to make a difference. I missed the professional challenges of human resources and business while also wanting the flexibility to be present for my family. Building this business allowed me to do both.

Today, I partner with small business owners who need practical HR support without the expense of a full-time HR department, and I help job seekers create professional resumes, compelling cover letters, and interview strategies that help them stand out in today’s competitive job market.

My mission is simple: I want to help people succeed.

Whether that means helping a business hire the right employee, creating efficient HR processes, or helping someone land the interview that changes their career, I believe every person and every organization deserves the tools and guidance to reach their full potential.

A Little About Me

Mother

Being a mother has shaped the way I lead and serve others. It has strengthened my ability to problem-solve, communicate, prioritize, and adapt—all skills I bring to every client relationship.

Traveler

Living in Okinawa, Japan, from 2015 to 2017 gave my family the opportunity to experience different cultures while traveling throughout Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Those experiences broadened my perspective and reinforced my appreciation for people from all walks of life. I’ve also explored 33 of the 50 United States and am always looking forward to the next adventure.
